1 Choose the Right Day

Best day: Friday or Tuesday (both are associated with Goddess Durga and her forms).

Time: During Brahma Muhurta (early morning before sunrise) or Shubh Muhurat during the day.
2. Cleanse Yourself

Take a bath and wear clean clothes.

Sit in a clean, quiet space facing East.
3. Purify the Locket

Place the locket on a clean red cloth or in a copper plate.

Sprinkle Ganga Jal (holy water) or purified water mixed with Tulsi leaves over it.

Offer red flowers, incense, and a diya (lamp) to the locket.
4. Chant the Durga Yantra Mantra
Chant the following mantra 108 times using a rudraksha or crystal mala
This energizes the locket with Durga’s divine power.
5. Wear the Locket

Touch the locket to your forehead and heart.
