Dattatreya Yantra Depicts Lord Dattatrey the Guru of all Guru Incarnation of Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma born to the great Sage Atri and his devoted wife, Anusuya. He depicted with three heads as Trinity(Trimurti), Six Hands Carrying Kamandal(Holy Water Pot), Lord Vishnu gave Japamala,
Lord Brahma gave the Conch, and Sudarshan Chakra, and Trident(Trishul), and Damru gifted by Lord Shiva. He portrayed sitting in meditation with his shakti beneath the aadumbara(wish-fulfilling) tree. In front of him is a fire pit, and around him are four dogs. Sometimes said to symbolize the four Vedas.
In the Natha culture, Dattatreya is recognized as an Avatar or incarnation of Lord Shiva and as the Adi Guru (First Teacher) of the Adinath sampradaya of the Nathas. Although Dattatreya first a “Lord of Yoga” with Tantric traits, he adopted and assimilated into the more devotional cults; while still worshiped by millions of Hindus, he approached more as a benevolent God than as a teacher of the highest essence of Indian thought.

Dattatreya Yantra Puja Guidelines
- With a Purified mind after taking a bath with a Focused and Positive mind, start the Prayers.
- Light Incense Stick or Diya.
- Place Yantra alongside your Ishtdev or Lord Dattatrey.
- Offer Fresh Fruit and Flower to the Yantra.
- Sprinkle Water on yourself and Yantra.
- Close Your eyes, Chant Mantra at least 21 times and concentrate on Goddess Laxmi or Isht Dev for blessings and ask God to fulfill desires.
