The Sanskrit word Nandi has the meaning of happiness, joy, and satisfaction, the properties of the divine guardian of Shiva- Nandi
- Nandi in the form of a bull is Shiva’s vehicle. He is paid obeisance before shiva. In the temples of Shiva, Nandi stands on one leg and the other three are bent at the knees. This signifies that in Kaliyug, righteousness exists only to the extent o one-fourth.
- Green Jade Margatha Nandi represents strength, faith, and constancy in belief. Green Jade Margatha Nandi often sits directly outside a shrine to Shiva, facing the deity. Often an image of Nandi, the sacred bull on which Shiva rides, faces the linga. In Sanskrit, the common bull is “Vrisha”, meaning: righteousness or Dharma.

Not at all satisfied with the product. Shape is not perfect.Very small unequal holes in the parad mani gutika through which no thread passes.I never expected such poor quality product.Should get a replacement.
