Benefits of Pure Copper Maa Matangi Yantra
Matangi Yantra is depicted as one of the Maha vidya Goddess Matangi. Called a Kalki avatar of Goddess Durga. Once, Lord Vishnu and his wife Goddess Lakshmi went to Lord Shiva and Parvati. And gave them a dinner of well-made foods.
The goddesses fell some food on the ground, from which appeared a pretty maiden, an incarnation of Goddess Saraswati. The four goddesses awarded them as prasad, food made holy by having been first tested by the deity.
This can be interpreted as the Uchchhishta of the deity, although due to its negative connotation the word Uchchhishta is never explicitly used in connection to prasad.
