According to Puranas, The Yoni part of Shivling should be facing towards the North. Putting the Shivling Yoni in the north direction of the house blesses great benefits. How to do Pooja or Worship of Parad ka Shivling 

• First of all, start with the Worship of Lord Ganesha.
• With a Purified perception after taking a bath with a Focused and Confident mind, start the Prayers.
• Place Mercury Shivlinga alongside Lord Shiva and Light Aroma Stick or Diya.
• Offer Fresh Fruit and Flower to the Shivalingam, Sprinkle Water on yourself and Shivalingam,
• Offer Panchaamrit Made with Raw Milk, Curd, Ghee, Sugar, Honey.
• Close Your eyes, Chant Shiva Mantra, at least 21 times, concentrate on Lord Shiva for blessings, and ask God to fulfill desires.
